Radial pipeline compressors are used for the transportation of natural gas over long distances. For example, MOPICO® units are installed directly in the main pipeline, or complete gas turbine compressor packages are supplied. The storage of natural gas serves to compensate seasonal fluctuations in gas supply and demand.
